83. Don’t rush the process

I want to run every day.

The problem is I can’t just immediately assume that to be my current ability.

The last couple of weeks has been a strenuous exercise regime for me- a 48-hour running challenge, a 10km race, big mileage weeks- all on top of mixing in a new carnivore diet affecting recovery.

So no surprise I had an old injury flare-up.

The immediate gratification of living the lifestyle I wanted, overruled my ability to listen to my body, and consequently, prevented me from actually achieving this desire to run every day.

So the learning lesson?

Don’t rush the process.
